Transitions...

Ok- I'm still trying to figure out how this blog works.

We've been quite busy with getting things planned for the move.  You know, little details like where to live, etc.  Today we finally received confirmation that we have a townhouse to move into. Yay! We won't have to be homeless in Utah.  Check.

I'm finishing out my last week at my current job.  Strangely, the Ohio Department of Health also thought this would be a good week to pop in for a visit of my workplace.  So, that's added another level of stress to the office staff.  I've mostly tried to avoid the office this week.
I hope the licensing process doesn't take too long in Utah and I can find a job quickly.
Home healthcare, hospital, who knows?? We shall see where I land next.

Jake is eager to get into his new office and get caught up on the news at Grace Lutheran School.

Andrew is having fun with his Painesville friends at VBS this week, getting in some quality fun time before we move.

Dave is mostly hanging out at home, putting in lots of video gaming time, which is pretty much his favorite thing to do.  Now that he's going into the 6th grade, he's officially too old for VBS this year.

Gertie likes to spend her time birdwatching or napping.  We've taken her on a couple short car rides recently to get used to the idea of car travel before the long trek out West.

So here's the plan:
Next week will be spent in Indiana...
1)   Jake's parents celebrate their 40th anniversary with a family dinner
2)   We meet my parents and they take the boys for a week of fun with them
3)   Jake and I get to spend the week of our 13th anniversary at Turkey Run State Park
4)   We'll finish out the week with his cousin's wedding in Lafayette, and hopefully get to visit with      some friends there, as well.

Following that week, we get back home and meet the movers to get packed up and head out Tuesday, the 10th!  Whew!

Stay tuned.....
